Working on the Rhyme

Then you take the handwritten paragraphs and start changing them into rhyming lines. Just use couplets; don’t worry about using complicated rhyme schemes for this. Also, make sure you stick with shorter lines, not long ones. Make each line 8-10 syllables long.

You might take these lines and turn them into rhyming lines like this:

There were two fam’lies equalized

The hate was deep and and full of lies

The M’s had Romie, son of fate

The C’s had Julie, born in hate

And you just keep going until you’ve finished. Our finished lyrics are here.
