If you uploaded the video but didn’t enter the lyrics while doing the upload, you can do it easily afterwards. You just:

Choose Subtitles in the left sidebar.
Select the video you want to work with.

Adding subtitles in YouTube is really easy.

Edit the subtitles if they don’t line up right.

If you DO end up having to edit the subtitles, it will take a few minutes, but is usually quite easy.

You can drag the handles to line up the pieces.
